The Himalayan Range Sea Salt

The Himalayan Mountains in South Asia are home to a natural pink salt known as Himalayan pink salt. The magnesium, potassium, and calcium trace minerals in the salt give it the rose tint. Although it is mined similarly to rock salt, pink Himalayan salt is actually sea salt. It implies that the ancient evaporation of enormous quantities of water produced the salt that may be extracted from this mine. 

The Unprocessed Extraction

Since Himalayan salt is obtained from salt mines more than 5000 feet beneath the Himalayan Mountain range, it is thought to be made of leftovers from the primordial, original sea. It has undergone intense pressure for thousands and thousands of years and is said to be very pure. Given that it has undergone little processing and extraction by hand, making it an unprocessed product free of additives, it is far more natural than table salt. Sodium chloride also makes up most of it, but many other trace components are present due to the natural harvesting process.
