Description

Why Is Kashmiri Saffron used?

Saffron Threads, also called Kesar, are considered King of Spices. A versatile spice, saffron can be used in a variety of dishes. We provide Saffron filaments that are exceptionally strong and aromatic. This prominent spice is directly sourced from the fresh farms of Kashmir. The saffron from Aurganiucm is unprocessed, and quality control guarantees that you will receive the finest quality product, free of contaminants.

All The Way From Pampore!

Pampore, Kashmir, is home to fields blanketed with purple crocus blooms and high snow-capped mountains. The priceless spice, saffron, is produced by this flower. With almost 20,000 families engaged in saffron farming, the little village of Pampore is called the "saffron capital of India." Saffron's high-value results from the complex process involved in growing it. The locals pick the beautiful blooms and gather them in wicker baskets to start the process.

The petals, yellow strands, and red strands are the three sections of each flower that are sorted subsequently. The red strands are used to produce pure saffron. The flowers are then moved, weighed, and finally dried over a charcoal fire. To ensure that we provide a nutritious flavour for all saffron enthusiasts out there, Aurganicum takes pride in sourcing freshly extracted saffron from the revered farmers of the saffron valley of India.
